THE IMPORTANCE OF NATURAL FABRICS
Natural fabrics such as cotton, silk or wool wick away moisture from the skin and allow it to breathe properly. Staying dry is half the work of staying warm, so it is good to clothe and surround the child in natural fabrics. These allow the newborn's sensitive skin to breathe well, and the thermal quality of wool is unsurpassable because it holds up to 30% moisture and still keeps in warmth. Cotton flannel is also wonderful because of its incredible softness and breathability.
